Matcha Latte

Matcha is known to have many benefits, and combined with a spoonful or two of our raw, natural honey, it takes the taste and health benefits to the next level. Besides being delicious, matcha can help boost your metabolism, immune system, and even your memory. Even if you aren't really a matcha fan, or you don't love honey, the combination of these two flavors turn into something completely unique and delicious. We used fresh cows milk from a local farm here in Central Oregon to really give this latte a rich base. Here is our simple recipe for a Matcha Latte.


INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 tsp Matcha green tea powder
2 tbsp hot water
1 tbsp (or to taste) La Aurora Meadow honey
1/2 cup milk


DIRECTIONS

Steam the milk. Stir in the La Aurora honey once warm, then set it aside . Add the Matcha powder to a small bowl. Add the hot water, and combine with a matcha tea whisk vigorously for thirty seconds with a back and forth motion until frothy. Transfer the Matcha mix to your cup of choice, and then pour in the steamed milk.
