Honey Herbed Chicken

Aromatic, hearty herbs like thyme, sage, and savory pair with La Aurora Meadow honey as a counterpoint to the tart fruits and florals. Broiled over chicken with a touch of lemon, the honey bubbles and browns and creates a crust that melts in your mouth and is bursting with flavor.


1/3 cup mixed dark herbs like rosemary, thyme, sage, savory, marjoram, or tarragon
2 Tbps high-quality salt
1 tsp grated lemon zest
½ tsp ground pepper
1 garlic clove
1 pound boneless chicken breast
1/3 cup La Aurora Meadow Honey


Mix herbs, salt, lemon zest, pepper, and garlic in a small bowl. Coat the chicken liberally on both side with mixture.  Let side for 15-30 minutes. Turn on broiler. Carefully broil chicken, turning after 7 minutes, until cooked through. Remove from oven and pour honey over chicken. Return to broiler and cook until honey is bubbly and turning brown.
